Agreement of Mission
Please read the WINGS Mission Statement of Focus & Faith and electronically “sign” the Agreement then submit it along with your Application.
- We are committed to the knowledge of and person of the Lord Jesus Christ; His saving work on the cross and His forgiveness and grace to all that call upon Him.
- We are committed to the process of interceding for the next generation of His church. We will intercede for our immediate families and all elements, physical and spiritual that influences their spirits and their lives.
- We are committed to self-reflection and repentance. We ask daily for the Holy Spirit to remind, enlighten, correct and restore our spirits in our on-going goal of becoming Christ-like in our character.
- We understand that as intercessors, we must endeavor to allow the fruits of the Spirit to be evident in our lives. As intercessors we are committed to communicating joy, love, care and grace to our families and friends.
- We are committed to good works as further evidence that Christ lives in us and we are forever changed because of that fact.
- We invite the Holy Spirit to rearrange our thinking to be; filtered with godly wisdom, saturated with humility, healed from all negative thoughts and memories and finally restored to a thought pattern of fearless living.
- As we intercede for the next generation of saints we are resolved to stand in the gap between faith and rebellion, humility and pride, freedom and addictions, salvation and a life void of God.
- We know that the next generation of saints is chosen by God to fulfill His divine purposes as individuals and as a part of the church community.
- We are repairers of the walls and foundations of the church. We will hold forth the Word of God as our shield of faith in fighting the enemy.
- We are clothed in the righteousness of Jesus and can therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace with our petitions.
- The purpose of gathering monthly is for; support, spiritual fellowship, to strengthen our faith and in divine obedience to the scriptural pattern of saints praying together for a divine cause.
- We pledge to fast at least once per week in accordance with scriptural models of fasting. We will pray daily for our families and those within our prayer fellowship.
- We pledge to encourage others to begin WINGS fellowships. We will train and equip other saints in using the weapon of prayer, the power of praise.
- We hold in confidence the prayers of the members of our fellowship and hold these members up to Christ as our dear sisters in faith.
